As you can see, not all life at sea is fun and days at the dog park. Somebody has to pay bills for the dock rent and dog chow. So, until the blog goes viral, our lottery tickets become all winners, or corporate sponsors pay us to go sailing…. Mommy Dog has to stroke the keyboard at her remote job. A digital nomad is definitely the way to be. The office has a great view!

Our friend Doug Jenkins is a really nice guy, and a boat broker. What is this you ask?

He works like a realtor to find a prospective boat β΅ buyer π°to find a new shiny vessel, or a lightly used fixer-upper, like Bikini Bottom. π

If you want to be like the cool kids and go sailing, powerboating, or just need a jet ski π₯οΈ, or dinghyπ£ββοΈ. Doug can point you in the right direction! π£οΈ

It is always best to have a survey for the boat β΅ done by a professional to inspect the good, the bad, and the ugly. If you have kept up with our blog, you will already know that we passed on the first boat β΅ we liked. It was a steel hull ketch. It had rust issues and it would have been a money pit π°. The phrase, “buyer beware” is true. Get a professional to survey your new boat β΅ prior to making a deal, and you should have less to worry about!

Back to repairs…. check out how to install a boat β΅ refrigerator! Use ATV winches to lift your dinghy. And, upgrade your BBQ π grill. More to come, hoping to get some of these projects done and set sail after the house π in Orlando is sold.
